Picks Up!!
Join in some origami fun by making your very own Niner Nation pickaxe. Bring out your creative side and show us where you are displaying your 49er pride. PICKS UP!! YOU WILL NEED: 3 sheets of 8.5″x 11″ paper; 1 glue stick; 1 ink pen or marker and some spirit.
Niner Nibble
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature for about 15 minutes)
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (can omit is desired)
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all purpose flour (can substitute with gluten-free 1:1 flour)
- Green and white sprinkles, edible glitter or decor of your choice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix butter and sugar until smooth (about 3 minutes)
- Beat in almond extract and egg
- In a separate bowl, combine baking powder and salt with flour. Add this in small amounts to the wet ingredients. (If the dough looks crumbly, mix a little longer.)
- Do NOT chill the dough. Divide into workable solutions and roll out on a floured surface to cut. Cookies should be closer to ¼ inch.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet before removing.
- Sprinkle with green, white and gold sprinkles, edible glitter or anything Niner colors!
