Niner Nation Week is a week-long celebration that brings together students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community to participate in a variety of events and activities that build Niner Pride. The festivities culminate with Homecoming Weekend.

The dates for Niner Nation Week may vary each year, but it typically takes place during the middle of fall semester.

Niner Nation Week features a diverse range of events, including pep rallies, campus-wide competitions, tailgating, community service projects,  concerts, the Homecoming Game and more. The schedule of events and updates for Niner Nation Week will be available on the official Niner Nation Week: Homecoming website.

Niner Nation Week is open to everyone! All members of the UNC Charlotte community, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their families are encouraged to participate as well as the broader Charlotte community.

Some events during Niner Nation Week may require tickets or registration, while others are open to all without any tickets. Check the event listing page for complete details.

Yes, families and children are welcomed and encouraged to attend!

No outside food or beverages are allowed into the game. There are many different food and concession options for purchase throughout the stadium. Here’s a map of the various food and beverage options.

Yes! The Alumni Association hosts the 49er Tailgate Village open to all Charlotte 49er Fans and tickets may be purchased here. Additionally, individuals are able to tailgate in officially designated spots (identified by marked signage) four hours prior to the game and two hours after the game. Here is the official university tailgating policy.

Yes, volunteer opportunities are usually available during Niner Nation Week. You can sign up to be a volunteer and support the various events and activities.
