YOU WILL NEED: 3 sheets of 8.5″x 11″ paper; 1 glue stick; 1 ink pen or marker and some spirit.
Niner Nibble
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature for about 15 minutes)
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (can omit is desired)
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all purpose flour (can substitute with gluten-free 1:1 flour)
- Green and white sprinkles, edible glitter or decor of your choice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix butter and sugar until smooth (about 3 minutes)
- Beat in almond extract and egg
- In a separate bowl, combine baking powder and salt with flour. Add this in small amounts to the wet ingredients. (If the dough looks crumbly, mix a little longer.)
- Do NOT chill the dough. Divide into workable solutions and roll out on a floured surface to cut. Cookies should be closer to ¼ inch.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet before removing.
- Sprinkle with green, white and gold sprinkles, edible glitter or anything Niner colors!
